We sells a wide range of products used as raw materials within the steel industry, including Iron Ore, Mill Scale, Direct Reduced Iron fines (DRI C), HBI and Oxide Iron fines. Our products range from 55% to 80% Fe Total content, catering to a vast universe of specific requirements by enabling the use of lower spec, lower cost materials in Sinter feed blends thus improving the overall cost structure of our end users.

 

We deliver over 1.5 million tons of iron related materials per year, sourced mainly in North America, the Caribbean and South America destined to China, Korea, Mexico and European markets. Our shipments range in size from Handysize to Panamax, depending on the product and port capabilities at origin or destination. Most of Grady Trading’s sales are CFR, ensuring proper control and service throughout the entire supply chain.

+ clinker

Clinker is the key element in the process of cement production. The clay and crushed limestone enters the large cylindrical rotary kiln 78 feet in length and circulate through the same at a temperature of 1,450 degrees until they melt in what is called the clinkering. After cooling, the solid material (clinker) after being milled and mixed with gypsum and other products such as blast furnace slag or ash from thermal, depending on the model you want to do, the final product is obtained: cement.

 

Given their relative ease of handling, clinker is traded internationally in large quantities using carrier vessels, primarily in bulk.

 

In dry conditions, the clinker can be stored for several months without significant loss of quality.
